Yes, Disney sued Marvel Comics over Howard, claiming he was too close to
Donald. Marvel distanced Howard from Donald by having him wear pants. Steve
Gerber even wrote a story about why Howard suddenly started wearing pants,
in which the person suing Howard in the story was named "Wally Sidney".
