"such things"!? Hmmm. Do you really think that Scrooge acts pleasantly
and friendly towards Donald for example, in general I mean, reading
Barks or Rosa? Scrooge is often an old ruthless, stingy duck--no
mitigating circumstances whatsoever...
Read Barks' "Sunken Yacht". Do you find this "fair play"?
The fact that the Italians developed this is in my opinion very
interesting and only "boosts" our understanding of how these ducks
actually can behave sometimes.
Of course I don't wish to see quarrels or Scrooge hammering Donald's
head in every series, but sometimes he may or may *not* have the reason
to do so. Do we all behave decently always, do we all never tell lies
or do never get aggresive to some extent...
Why all this loftiness, not even the super heroes that we know of are
so black and white. In fact, it's when they fail to be so, surprise
us, that things and stories get really interesting and special and
something we'll never forget.

I don't believe there *can* be any difference between Dutch and Danish
culture in this sense. It must be a simple matter of taste! :-)

It takes a lifetime to like their stories and less than a second to
like their (eh eh) well...no, it's not just the wine... :-)
