Gloves and shoes

     You might also note that you seldom see Mickey or Goofy's feet 
without shoes, either.   One exception I remember is an early 60s 
Paul Murry Dell story that involves a  magical camera that takes 
pictures of present day sites but shows them as they were in the 
past. The story opens on a beach and both Mickey and Goofy are shown 
shoeless (using white paint to highlight the toes on their black 
feet. )
