Thanks Armando! Yes, I confirm that's most probably the story. Gilles, if
you want to locate the French publication, I am sure you'll find it in one
of the Almanach du Journal de Mickey, 80s or late 70s. I just can't check
any right now.
In the story, Straccetton looks so much like Scrooge that the nephews first
think that the beggar is their uncle. And so do the Beagle who'll kidnapp
him thinking he is the rich Scrooge McDuck.
