In Swedish there are four ways of making the genitive:

1.) Adding -s, e.g. sak <-> saks (thing <-> thing's)

2.) If the word ends with -s, add an apostrophe, e.g. buss <-> buss' (bus
<-> bus's)

3.) If it is a Latin name ending with -us, we do it the Latin way. E.g.
Stagnelius <-> Stagnelii (Swedish authour)

4.) If it is a city/town/village name, the nominative and genitive are
identical. E.g. Norrtälje <-> Norrtälje
