Norse gods in Mythtic Mystery (US 34)

Does this mean that references to Norse gods in "Mythtic Mystery" (US 34)
are in fact references to "gods of ancient cultures of the Scandinavian
countries and Iceland"?

Or did the Scandanivian countries have different gods at that time,
meaning that the Norse gods really are gods from only the ancient 
culture of Norway?
