towns

During Gladstone's two tenures with Disney comics, there was a
tendency, quite unintentional, to place Donald and Scrooge in Duckburg
and put Mickey in "Anytown, U.S.A." Names like Mickeyville and
Mous(e)ton just never entered our collective editorial consciousness,
due both to our comparatively rare use of Mickey compared to the ducks
and the very rare use of any name for the town Mickey lived in the
Mickey material we did publish.

Perhaps a "Life and Times of Mickey Mouse"-type series could establish
something definite someday.
