Euros and duck universe

In the first pocket books translators seem to avoid to mention the
currency used or the exacts sums. Ducks don't talk about markkas, but
"Maksa heti lainaamasi kaksi rahaa!" in pb 14, where currency is just
"raha" =money, sometimes "killinki" or "kolikko" =coins. 

Is this only a Finnish phenomenon?
