Cousin Fred

I checked the story about Donald's "Cousin Fred" given by Rich
Bellacera (H85125) published by Gladstone in WDC542.
Cousin Fred, modern astist, (no family name given) has a strong family
resemblance to Donald's cousin Gus Goose.  On Don Rosa's
family tree, Gus Goose is a second cousin of Donald, whereas
Gladstone Gander is a first cousin.  So I doubt that Fred is a first
cousin of Donald.  Could he be a brother of Gus Goose, and thus
another second cousin to Donald?
