Master thief Black Knight a.k.a. Arpin Lusene has a page at:
http://coa.inducks.org/coa/c1/character.php/0/Arpin+Lusene/1
(COA-maintainers: This page contains MySQL error messages.
I've seen these messages on lots of other places, too.)
There are two Rosa-stories with Arpin Lusene:
D 97346 The Black Knight (24 pages)
http://coa.inducks.org/coa/c1/story.php/0/D+97346
F PM 00201 Attaaaaaack! (12 pages)

I think it's about time that Scrooge meets some other villains than
the Beagle Boys and Magica De Spell. Arpin Lusene would be a nice
variation, also as character.
The Beagle Boys and Magica De Spell are villains for greedy reasons.
They want to steal something from Scrooge. Mostly they run away and
Scrooge has to chase them.
Arpin Lusene is a villain for more elusive, ideological reasons. His
logical is different, like a mad genius. He just wants to destroy
Scrooge's fortune as some kind of promise to himself. Unlike the
Beagle Boys and Magica, he doesn't have to care of possesions stolen
from Scrooge. Instead of running and hiding from Scrooge and the bin,
he's approaching.
Just imagine that such a freak would come towards your collection.
I think most collectors rather see their collection being stolen
(which means that it might turn up again), than being *destroyed*.
Even more when it's destroyed for *amusement*...
With Arpin, Scrooge has to face such a guy. And in a way, Arpin is
a bit like Scrooge. He's mainly concentrated on the money, instead
of its value. Both Arpin and Scrooge just want to play with the money
for a while, in their own... er... distinctive way.
That's why I like Arpin Lusene, and why I think he's a character
which deserves a return. I hope that Don Rosa himself will tell more
about Lusene, I'm curious for his thoughts on the character (and his
plans with it).
