Ghosts in Barks Stories

AND I AGREE, BUT...

there is one very interesting borderline case: "The Gost
Sheriff of Las Gasp" (WDC 176).

He fell down a mine shaft and afterwards he stopped 
aging. Barks sorta offers an explanation for this, but 
when I read the story for the first time way back
in the fifties I thought what had REALLY happened
was that the guy had turned into a ghost without knowing 
it. I even remember being slightly put off: "This is a ghost 
story. This is not proper Duck stuff."

Which just proves Don's point, I guess.
