Just a disclaimer:

I can't underscore enough that there may be a language difference 
popping up when discussing rather abstract subjects in a foreign 
language. What's the difference between supernatural and paranormal, 
for example? And do they mean the same in English as in Dutch?
Please keep this in mind when reading my email(s).
