The latest Gemstone Mickey Mouse #259 has only one 8-page MM story! The duck story "Battle Beasties" has 14 pages. The most notable thing I saw in this story was a square chicken (from Lost in the Andes and Return to Plain Awful) as one of the beasties (page 6 panel 4 and also flying and more obvious on page 14 panel 3). Just a cameo role.
