Another bit of information from the italian "Anonima Fumetti" news agency
(always up-to-date!):
there is an article at
http://www.icv2.com/articles/home/2128.html and
http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/2129.html
where Steve Geppi analyzes the return of Disney comics in USA, with a lot of
details.
I don't remember exactly if all the topics have been reported yet here on
DCML. Anyway, there is also a hint about a huge electronic archive of Disney
comic pages owned by The Disney Company containing "not only a tremendous
compilation of who's who and what's what, and what's selling, but actually
analysis of how they rate the artists".
Obviously all this can raise discussions on the "owner's rights" subject,
which has been recently a "hot" topic. The existence of such a low-cost
electronic archive is one of the debatable policies of the Disney Company;
on the other hand, from a reader point-of-view, I can only say that this
archive can probably make easier the reprise of the publications in USA.
bye
