A great book! I liked the sequel too, but it was not quite as good 
("Solitaire Mystery" or something like that...)

I don't remember any obvious cases, but often characters are reading 
comic books themselves (Donald reads Mickey, or vice versa)

Sometimes characters are speaking to the reader like they'd know we are 
here. I remember some story by Rosa where Scrooge says to the reader 
"What are YOU looking at?!" or something similar.
