Don Rosa and Picsou

Really? I think the old editor is still there. Please tell me if I´m wrong.

As most of publishers makes those errors with stories every now and 
then, I´m sure Don will not start to punish anyone because of that. He 
or any other artist/writer could not work for anybody with that kind of 
mentality. To err is human.

I´m sure that Picsou people are not involved in their country´s 
Iraq-policy. Nor that it would matter anyway, since Don is not the kind 
of guy to let that type of issues to make any difference. (I´m not 
judging the French policy here, I can certainly understand why they 
would make such a choice, but lets not talk about politics here.)

Don is probably thrilled at the opportunity to work for Gemstone as you 
can guess. Gemstone is unfortunately just starting, so they might not be 
in a position to buy whole new stories just now. They can make better 
profits with older Rosa-stuff at first. Picsou might be in a better 
position as would other non-Egmont publishers.

Still, since Don works slowly, he might want to consider who pays best 
for his work, and that is Egmont. Makes more sense to me than any 
political or staff-related reasons. There are bills to pay after all.

Oh, and I completely agree with you about it being only Egmont´s policy 
to not use HDL´s parents etc. Picsou and others could certainly use such 
a story if they wanted.
