HDL cap colours

When I was a kid reading the comics in Canada and USA, Western publishings colours were
not always 
the same, but in the 1950s Huey was most commonly red, Dewey green (or yellow) and Louie
blue.  I 
can't get those colours for them out of my mind, as that is how I was introduced to them.
