There was this very odd short story:
http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=H+85105
(3 pages, written by Jippes, drawn by Nadorp. Only printed in Holland, Germany, and Egypt, apparently.)
Gyro travels 100 years (!) into the future and everyone is nice to each other. Dogs and cats play together, burglars are nice to
policemen.
It turns out that everyone is being nice because no-one cares anymore: the world will be destroyed soon by bombs, rockets, and
radiation.
So Gyro quicky returns to his own time and is happy to get bitten by an angry cat.
A very weird story, written during the cold war, before the fall of the Berlin wall.
It was published in a winter special in 1985. Not in the regular weekly magazine. probably because the publishers agreed with me
that it was too weird for that...

(Now that the world hasn't ended: merry Christmas!)
