Season's Greetings 2012-2013 / End of the World in stories

Happy holidays, everyone!



Nils, I have not checked in the story, but the ball of Universal Solvent's
glorping of  the Earth's core certainly affected the whole planet; besides
taking it back up in a diamond jar, the ducks don't do anything to mend the
Earth-- though, just like the Money Bin is always repaired in-between
stories depicting its destruction, sone imagines that Gyro mends the Earth
somehow in-between stories (backstage, so to speak).

I stopped buying Mickey Parade regularly in 1988 (I had no idea it had been
so long); fortunately, the last issue (December 1988:
http://coa.inducks.org/issue.php?c=fr%2FMP++108) had good stories.
The first one ("Paperino e il Natale... spaziale", by Massimo Marconi &
Romano Scarpa-- http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=I+TL+1569-C) involved
saving the Earth from being blown up by extra-terrestrials to celebrate
their Emperor's birthday.
