Emily Quackfaster

Scrooge's secretary. She was first used by Carl Barks in The Midas Touch without a name, and reappeared in A Spicy Tale as Quackfaster. Apparently Barks never used her in any other stories. Don Rosa shows her first meeting with Scrooge in Life of Scrooge part 11, where the name Emily is mentioned. At Egmont Publishing, her "official" name is Miss Typefast, but Quackfaster is usually substituted in American reprints of Egmont stories.
