Wasn't there a Barks story that stated that "Duckburg is well ahead of time
compared to other cities in the world"? 8-)

There are a few things that determine the order of at least some stories.
In "Return to Plain Awful", Scrooge is going to the Andes, and his clerk
says "AGAIN, sir?". He clearly refers to "Son of the Sun", so that story
must have taken place before that.
I'm sure Rosa has references like that in other stories as well (he likes
to make them and I like to read them...).
I can't remember more at the moment, though.
