wartime reference

Hello everyone,  I'm one of those list lurkers that
sometimes get mentioned but only because I've never
really had anything constructive to add to the
coversation.  Anyway, regarding war references, the
Barks story from WDCS 64 has one of the nephews saying
that Donald has 40 pounds of sugar hidden in the
garage.  Sounds like a reference to rationing and
hoarding.  Sadly, this not only places Donald at home
during the war but also exposes him as a hoarder.
