Don Ault's note on Carl Barks painting in DCML #572

How wonderful to read your historical accounting of Carl and his painting. This is the kind of writing that makes DCML enjoyable and not the presence of bickering and insult inserted by a few others.

I thought that you might like to know that i still own the original finished and full-size ink drawing for the Dec.,1969,WDC & S cover that you sold me in May of 1977. Matti Eronen listed it as the last cover done by Carl. However, i was able to purchase his unpublished finished cover idea for Somewhere In Nowhere.
