It is time!

Every once in a while, an email came to me from this list and I enjoyed reading it.

I am not a huge follower of all things Disney but I definitely enjoy Barks/Rosa/etc.. work with Uncle Scrooge.
To this day I still have not acquired a Carl Barks oil painting for obvious reasons ($$$$).

I have given almost all my Disney comics away to children over the years and all I am left with is a handful of random issues that I have read so many times before. My 12 year old son prefers Pokemon over comic books even though I still try every once in a while with him. Sad that direct sales to comic book stores have basically made finding Disney comics impossible in most US stores, gas stations, etc... One has to make specific trips or online purchases just for a chance to acquire the material.

It will most likely take a special talent to give new life to these characters here in the USA if Disney even allows it to happen. Respecting the past while introducing fresh stories to appear. Anime/manga seems to have that special thing going on right now for current generations. Something Disney has lost or gave up on. Who knows if political correctness could even allow a 1940s style cartoon short to even be shown in a movie theater now days with comedy only allowed if done a certain way.

Thank you for maintaining this list for all these years. Times change I suppose.

Matt

Hi

Wow. It must be a couple of decades since I last posted here. Even so, this feels somewhat sad as I really enjoyed this list back in the days. But the world has moved on, and the decision is a natural one.

Thank you ever so much for managing this list for all these years. It really made a difference when it comes to information and discussions about Disney comics.

Regards
Halsten
